UNITE HERE

   This super union resulted from the merger of two trade unions, UNITE (Union of Needletrades, Industrial and Textile Employees) and HERE (Hotel Employees and Restaurant Employees International Union), which, in 2006, represented more than 440,000 active members and more than 400,000 retirees throughout North America.
